Grade 1/ 2 have really taken to the Active Learning sessions provided each day.
These sessions are a time for the children to make choices about their learning
and explore things in a ‘hands on’ way. Defined areas are set up in the classroom to
promote such things as literacy, construction, drama, information technology. The children’s
‘projects’ can take many forms and are presented to others to share knowledge and interests.
